Cancellation Policy
Given that pottery pieces are handmade there is a slight risk that comes with firing. Firing is a natural but unpredictable process, and even with careful handling, a small number of pieces may crack, warp, or not survive firing - particularly pieces with thin walls, fine details, or trapped air. This is a normal part of working with real clay and can happen regardless of skill or experience. We check each piece for common risk factors (wall thickness, trapped air, weak joins) before it goes into the kiln, but we can't guarantee that every piece will make it through the firing process. If a piece doesn't survive firing, we're not able to offer a refund, replacement, or remake. We'll always let you know if this happens to your piece. This is worth keeping in mind for younger children building thinner or more delicate shapes. Please also note that there will also be some shrinkage of your piece during firing - which is also a natural characteristic of clay.
