Disclaimer:
Ceramics is handmade and unpredictable — slight variations in shape, colour and texture are part of the charm. Occasionally a piece won't survive drying or firing. It's rare, but it happens, and we'll always let you know. Pieces are ready for collection approximately 4 weeks after your session. You will be notified when it's ready.

A: A hand-building session where you shape your own takeaway-style coffee cup from clay — no pottery wheel involved, just your hands. You'll build the cup, then decorate it with underglazes before it's fired.
Q: Do I need experience?
A: None at all — our team will guide you through every step, from shaping to attaching to decorating.
Q: How long does a session take?
A: 2.5 hours from start to finish, including decorating your cup at the end.

A: Yes — we have a range of underglaze colours on hand.
Q: When do I get my cup back?
A: About 4–6 weeks. Pottery needs to be fired food-safe, which takes longer than our paint-based workshops — but it means what you take home is something you can actually drink from, not just display.
Q: What happens if my piece cracks or breaks during firing?
A: Because these are handmade, hand-fired pieces, there's always a small chance a piece may crack, warp, or not survive firing — this is a natural part of working with real clay, not a reflection on your making. We check for weak points before firing, but we can't guarantee every piece will make it through, and we're not able to offer a refund or remake for a piece lost in the kiln.
